Easy Way To Apply Mascara
To apply mascara, start from the base of your lashes and wiggle back and forth until you reach the tip. Apply a second coat to add volume to your lashes. Use a mascara brush to separate clumped lashes. Use a spoolie to brush out any excess product on your skin after applying mascara. Apply mascara to lower lashes last so that it doesn’t smear onto upper lids during application.
3-in-1 Eyeliner Hack
Use a pencil eyeliner to create a winged eyeliner: The beauty hack to achieve the perfect winged eyeliner is using both ends of a pencil eyeliner. Simply sharpen one end and use it to create the thick wing, while using the other end as an applicator to create your thin line. This trick works best with gel or kohl liners, but can be used with any type of liner you have at home!
Use gel/kohl eyeliners to create thin lines: If you’re looking for more dramatic eyeshadow looks, try using your favorite gel or kohl liner on its own! Dabbing this liquid liner directly into your lash line will give you that bold statement look everyone wants from their eye makeup. Be careful not to overdo it though—too much intensity can be overwhelming!
Use gel/kohl eyeliners for thick lines: If bolder eyes are what you want then go all out by creating thick lines instead! Pick up any kind of pen style liner (like Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Waterproof Pencil) and apply along your upper lashline just below where your eyebrow ends; then press down gently with an angled brush like MAC 266 Concealer Brush until desired thickness is achieved.
Temporary Tattoo Eyeliner
Use a fine-tipped marker to draw on the outline of your cat eye, then use a makeup sponge to apply liner inside the shape. Be careful not to get too close to the edge of your eye or it will become difficult to blend! For extra precision, you can also use a cotton swab (or eyeliner brush if you want) for more detail work instead.
Once you’re done with your cat eyes, use makeup remover to remove any residual liner from around your eyes and clean up any mistakes; once again, be careful not to use too much pressure because that risks pulling on fragile skin.
Eyeshadow Technique for Hooded Eyes
This technique is perfect for hooded eyes or anyone who wants to create a more defined crease.
First, pick up a darker shade of eyeshadow and apply it to the outer corner of your lid. Next, use a lighter shade of shadow on the inner portion of your lid (closer to your nose). Finally, apply a neutral color across the top portion of your browbone. To blend everything together, use a fluffy brush like this one from Amazon. Make sure that you’re using light pressure so as not to go overboard with color!
Get a Cute Blink with Eye Tape
If you’re feeling lazy and aren’t sure how to create a cute blink, then this hack is for you.
Eye tape is useful for many things, and one of them is making your eye appear bigger. This can easily be done with the help of double-sided tape. Simply put it on your eyelids in the shape of a smile and remove it after everything dries off. The result will be a cute wink that makes people want to click away from here because they feel so much cuteness overload!
Lipstick Hacks for Petite Lips
If you’re petite and your lips are on the smaller side, try using a lip liner pencil to create the perfect outline of your lips. This will make it easier to apply lipstick when applying it over top of the liner.
Make sure that the pencil is the same color as your lipstick so that they blend together seamlessly. Then use a lip brush to fill in the outline so it looks natural and not like you’re wearing clown makeup.
V-line Chin Makeup Hack
For a V-line chin makeup hack, use a lip pencil to create the line and then highlight it with your favorite highlighter. If you want to contour your chin like an artist who has spent many years perfecting his or her craft, use an eye shadow brush to apply bronzer or any similar product. To create the illusion of fuller lips, apply lipstick on top of your natural lip line. You can even go further and use lip liner as lip liner—and it will work just as well!
